    5.3 Somebody somewhere Donna William 1993 Donna explores the 4 years since her diagnosis and her attempts to leave the world under glass and live normally. Has some description on perception distortion an autistic person may have and possibility for unlearning them.  240 pages
    5.4 Emergence : Labelled autistic Temple Grandin and M M Scariano 1986 Offers insight into the frustration of people with autism in communication with other people. a rare autobiography as most people with autism do not develop such a sophisticated communication ability. 180 pages
    5.5 For The Love of Ann James Copeland   It is about a woman with low-functioning autism named Ann Hodges who had no apparent receptive language until 7 yo and no expressive language until 8 yo. Her parents began put ting together a kind of primitive ABA program using many of the techniques that ABA families today are familiar with. She grew to lead a normal life. That was in the 60s.
